My journey in this industry began with a deep love for sports. I grew up playing soccer before transitioning to basketball in my teenage years, competing throughout high school and continuing recreationally today. While I didn’t pursue athletics at the post-secondary level, my passion for sports evolved into a fascination with the science behind human performance. This led me to study Human Kinetics at Capilano University before earning my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. During my time at UBC, I participated in a student coaching program, gaining hands-on experience in the varsity weight room. I learned directly from the Strength and Conditioning Coaches there while working with a variety of UBC’s varsity teams, including rugby, hockey, volleyball, soccer, and basketball.

While sports performance is at the core of my expertise, my experience extends far beyond athletics. Over the past six years as a personal trainer and kinesiologist, I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals—including older adults maintaining general fitness, clients recovering from injuries, and athletes at various stages of development. These diverse experiences have shaped a well-rounded approach to training, allowing me to adapt to the unique needs of each client. I’m committed to continually refining my craft, whether it’s helping the next generation of athletes reach their potential or guiding individuals toward a healthier, more active lifestyle
