Lawrence graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) in 2019, where he received his diploma with honors. His interest in the health sciences originated from his experience with injury and rehabilitation in competitive sports.
With his experience in injury and rehabilitation, he became fascinated by the use of soft tissue manipulation, creating a better overall wellness of the human body and mind. This inspired Lawrence to pursue a career helping and caring for others with therapeutic touch as well as providing an opportunity for focused education about exercise and body awareness.
Lawrence believes that massage therapy is beneficial in improving the function of human movement as well as reducing pain and stress by helping stimulate the limbic system and the production of endorphins.
Lawrence's therapeutic approach includes IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization), myofascial techniques, deep tissue massage, Swedish & relaxation massage, trigger point therapy & therapeutic exercise.
