Summer Youth Fitness Program

Genuine Athletics will teach your kids how to LOVE exercise using a FUN combination of weightlifting, calisthenics, plyometrics, and more!

Although many gyms allow youth and teens to work out on their own, without proper guidance they may wind up feeling lost, discouraged, getting injured, or simply wasting their time. Our mission is to change the way youth and parents alike view weightlifting and exercise by teaching them how to strength train safely and effectively in a way they personally enjoy.

By doing this, we promote injury prevention and improve the overall effectiveness of exercise, leading to higher levels of motivation and adherence. Transferring into better sleep, better mental health, and better performance in the classroom.

Resilience mentally and physically is one of the most important components of every athlete's overall development. The delayed gratification that comes with structured exercise builds emotionally stronger individuals that transfer into better athletes, students, and future adults in the workplace. Regardless of your sport of choice, our custom training programs will help you decrease risk of injury and build strength/speed that will improve your game dramatically.
Not everyone has the desire to play on a sports team. Genuine Athletics & Rehabilitation's youth fitness programs, run after school & during summer, were designed to give your child the self-confidence to thrive independently. While learning how to break outside their comfort zone, bond with like-minded individuals, and recognize the benefits of teamwork.

Summer PROGRAM BREAKDOWN

  • Welcoming ages 12 – 17 *Limited space available* (maximum 30 participants per month)
  • Training options are available in 3 or 5 day per week options from 12pm to 2pm Monday to Friday with flexible scheduling on a week-to-week basis
  • Workout durations range from 45-90 minutes on average
  • Priority booking with all of our physiotherapists, registered massage therapists, naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, and more. (within 24-72 hours)
  • Your child will gain the knowledge and confidence they need to train safely and effectively on their own for years to come.
  • Access to our mobile app with 8 different signature training programs to choose from with video tutorials for every exercise and the ability to track and analyze your progress in real time. When ready, we will also teach them how to write and develop their own custom training programs!
  • Hands-on guidance from an elite strength coach who will teach you how to exercise safely and effectively in a way that you enjoy.
  • Learn how to use machines and free weights and navigate around the gym.

The program runs 12:00pm - 2:00pm Monday - Friday

1 month training 3x per week: $239 ($229 EB)
1 month training 5x per week: $279 ($259 EB)
2 months training 3x per week: $450 ($398 EB)
2 months training 5x per week: $480 ($438 EB)

We take all participants through a thorough onboarding on Day 1 to make sure they are set up for success within the program.

What age groups is the Youth Summer Fitness Program designed for?

Our Youth Summer Fitness Program is designed for children and teenagers of varying ages, abilities, and athletic backgrounds. Whether your child is new to exercise or already involved in sports, our coaches will ensure they are challenged appropriately in a safe, supportive, and age-appropriate environment. 

 

Does my child need sports or gym experience to participate?

Not at all. Our program is designed for both beginners and young athletes. We focus on teaching proper movement mechanics, building confidence, improving fitness, and helping participants develop healthy habits that will benefit them both in sport and everyday life. 

 

What are the benefits of enrolling my child in a summer fitness program? 

Our program helps children and teens improve strength, coordination, confidence, athleticism, and overall fitness while staying active throughout the summer. Participants also learn valuable skills such as goal setting, teamwork, discipline, and the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle. 

 

Will my child receive individual attention during the program?

Yes. While our Youth Summer Fitness Program is conducted in a small group setting, sessions are supervised by 1–3 experienced coaches who actively monitor and support participants throughout each workout. Our program is intentionally designed to balance coaching, independence, and personal responsibility.

Rather than having coaches do everything for them, we teach participants how to safely navigate the gym, understand exercise technique, and build confidence in their own abilities. This approach encourages greater independence, self-confidence, and long-term success, while still ensuring every child receives the guidance, feedback, and support they need to thrive.
