Genuine Athletics started as an independent personal training company, with its founder, Jason Bell, sub-leasing various gyms across Delta, Surrey, and Langley. After the first year and learning the ropes of business, the company began to expand organically by onboarding new personal trainers and mentoring them to ensure the best experience possible for our clients. As our positive reputation continued to grow, so did the support of our community, influencing Jason to take a leap of faith by signing an intimidating commercial lease, opening our first location in South Surrey at the height of the Covid pandemic. Establishing the rehabilitation side of Genuine Athletics in 2022, expanding our offerings to become the ultimate one-stop shop for everything health, wellness, and performance.

The first year with our physical location was incredibly challenging, a true test of character. Trying to grow a new business from the ground up in a new city with overwhelming overhead and the pressures of a competitive market. Staying true to the vision of creating an all-in-one stop for everything health, wellness, and performance, we began to differentiate ourselves from our competitors when Genuine Athletics changed its DBA to Genuine Athletics & Rehabilitation. Launching various new services such as physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy and more alongside hiring some of the best practitioners in our industry.

Genuine Athletics started as a one-man show 8 years ago and has grown to become a leader in just a few short years. This was accomplished without the help of investors, partners, or family money. The reason we are where we are today is because of the support each of you has shown. We could not be more thankful for the opportunities our community has provided us with through their support and hope to continue providing genuine health, wellness, and performance services throughout the coming years.
